You have this idea of what something you want is worth and when the company wants to charge more, you get outraged instead of just not buying it. I think a lot of enthusiasts see it like you do. It’s “here are n64 games and here is the price”. I don’t see it as a tax because no one has to pay it. I just want to plug and play games with them.
R4 3DS EMULATOR REDDIT HOW TO
I don’t want to fight with different emulation programs and try to teach my whole family how to do that. Every time the “counter” is “but it’s so easy!” Doesn’t matter: if people wanted to tinker with their machine they’d have desktops, not consoles. It’s like trying to tell folks over on r/PS5 that most people *don’t* want to open their PS5 to stick an SSD inside it, because that’s not what the general console target audience likes to do.

Done.Īs someone who has emulated: the people screaming folks should just do that are extremely out of touch with most people. And all we have to do is sync our controllers to the Switch or fire up multiple switches. However, they lit up like a Christmas tree at the thought of family game night in the living room like we used to do. My family isn’t going to want to gather around my computer in my room and try to finagle a game night around it. I would consider myself an enthusiast, but roms just aren’t an option for my household. I’m dropping XBL this month anyways, never touch my XBox. I think it’s neat, and will probably get it because it fits into my budget. If you want to get those games otherways, go ahead. Yet, at the end of the day, it’s just an optional thing. You don’t see the value, doesn’t meant you have to mock every person who’s still gonna get you like you just discovered that Soylent Green is people. “I’m gonna emulate my N64 games, and I don’t like Animal Crossing, so imma skip it.” Great. (Case in point, the other 22.9 minutes of the Animal Crossing Direct that wasn’t that tiny letting on screen for 5 seconds.) It’s just that the “fans” don’t seem to care about those if something else happens that’s slightly negative and won’t even effect them. Instead of the myth that “they ALWAYS make baffling decisions.” Or, “It’s Nintendo.” Like, the hell does that even mean? I’ll admit that this is the first time in awhile that I see people having a reason to be annoyed and upset. They will find every possible petty reason to hate on them, and it’s really annoying. The entire sub is filled with Nintendo “fans” that actually hate Nintendo.
